Broadband activation date
I recently ordered a broadband package for a new property I will be moving into tomorrow 16/1/2021, the phone line seems to have been activated very quickly but i received a message telling me the broadband will be activated on 28/1/2021, this seems like a very long time, is there any way to get it up and running sooner? It's essential to be set up asap due to needing to be able to work from home

@blaeddyn there's a minimum 7 working days for any order that requires an Openreach engineer. If there was an existing line at the premises then the phone can be activated remotely, hence it completes quickly, often within 24 hrs. The Fibre broadband order will require an engineer to physically visit the local cabinet to do the work, hence the delay to provide broadband.
