Broadband activated, Router still hasn't arrived though...

I got the email yesterday saying that my new broadband has now been activated even though my router still has not arrived. because plusnet have now taken over, my previous supplier has now stopped their services meaning i am without internet. 

When I check my order it says on step 6 "the order is awaiting processing"

how much longer should I be waiting?

My partner needs this working especially as she is supposed to be working from home but is currently not able to.

Who were you with before? I know for instance you can use the BT router by changing the User name and password to your Plusnet details
