Activation of broadband

We recently moved house and migrated the previous Plusnet service to the new address. The previous broadband disconnected on the move date fine (21st July) and I was told this might take 48h to be activated at the new address.

It’s now been more than two weeks without this happening, I’ve tried to find the order tracker but this doesn’t seem to show as a new order in my account - is there a way to track the progress? And is this kind of delay normal? Thanks

Re: Activation of broadband

Spoke to them last week and was just told it could take a little longer than the 48h. Have since messaged support three times for an update, with no reply.

Re: Activation of broadband

Which service have you ordered - FTTC or FTTP (Full Fibre)? Did they say why it might take longer than the 48hrs?

Re: Activation of broadband

No reason, was just told the 48h is an estimate. It is FTTC I think. I’ll try them again in the morning, was curious to see if this was a normal thing, to be waiting so long.

Re: Activation of broadband

Please allow me a small rant before I answer your question. This is typical of BT Groups approach to customers (the people who pay their salaries) - treat them like mushrooms, and feed them on dung.

To answer your question though, sadly it is.
