Activating your line


originally I was told it will take 5-10 days to activate internet connection.

Now it says three weeks.


"Broadband orders typically take a week to complete.

Your broadband order should complete on 15th Jul 2016 - After 12pm"


Am I some lucky customer that it takes three times longer to do or was it intentional fraud and misinformation during sale?

Why virgin media does activation in 5 minutes and it takes three weeks for your company?

That will have been the first available day for our suppliers to activate your fibre.

Unfortunately all ADSL/VDSL broadband suppliers are held to whatever their supplier says, and they generally don't really care about customer service. Unfortunately the same supplier is used by all broadband suppliers so it is nothing specific to Plusnet.

this is happening to my mother in law  dont hold your breath it will be on hold our reviewed for weeks am still waiting for it to go live so hope YOU DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH

This is a bit of an old thread to bump but it seems OP's line was activated ok.

@firebird1000 - it may be worth starting your own thread. Never mind you already have one. I'll take a look at it now.
