Activating phone and broadband

So today i was moving over from sky to plusnet. Router arrived yesterday no idea when it will be up and running was given todays date but not a time. I work from home have no phone line or internet so unable to do anything workwise. Anyone have an idea how long it takes for them to transfer service losing the will to live on day one here.

Re: Activating phone and broadband

Finally got through to customer service who cant give me a time for when i will have a phone or net service. Not sure i am understanding how this process works. The person would not even check the progress of anything when i asked them. Was told to wait til midnight . Not helpful when you are self employed if the line is remotely taken over as i was told it was why so long? No phone since i went to start work at 5am?Huh

Re: Activating phone and broadband

Hi there.

Sorry about the delay in getting your services up and running.

Unfortunately a changeover take anytime up to midnight on the day depending on the work involved, and we can't advise our customers on a time when this will happen because we're not advised this by our suppliers.

I can see your orders are complete now. Everything working?

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
