Had a problem with our home phone over Christmas.
Been contacting Agents OK and viewing update messages with no problems until today (01/01/2026) when I was told my username/password was wrong.
Use a Password database but confirmed settings were right, so eventually found that I had to use the "forgotten password" option.
On using this, and adding to my existing password, found the new one was still unsuitable.
Eventually worked out the RULES had CHANGED, I'd been using (for years) a password with all lowercase characters, but new password needed at least 1 upper case character.
Surely a better error message would have been that the existing password didn't conform to rules, and why did it only come up today?

I suspect that the two incidents are unconnected. My guess would be that there was a glitch in the Plusnet management system that corrupted your old password, causing the problem. Not Plusnet out of the blue and without warning deciding that they no longer liked your password.
