returning to plusnet for fibre UL and bring bt line, switching in from BE

hi
am getting ready to comeback after a 10 yr abscence and leaving Be  and still have my basic plusnet dial up username, can i use this username again for fibre, as its not an option to use on the products page, and in the member centre i go into an endless loop , on the upgrade screen...!
last question  if plusnet offer FTTP or  FTTP on demand in my area soon , is it an easy regrade?
dont want to be locked into an 18mth contract , and be prevented in moving to FTTP...  as the new fibre cab is 80m away , telegraph pole is outside my house, and its all ducted to the cab..  local exchange in MRECC..
cheers

your best bet would be to give them a call regarding the fttc.
If the fttp trial is still running there shouldn't be anything stopping you joining it.

If the exchange is FTTC enabled then it won't offer FTTP and as far as I know Plusnet aren't trialling FTTP on demand

FTTPoD is being trialled but only in a limited number of exchanges, see FTTP On Demand Trial - Bristol South, St Agnes and High Wycombe FTTP on Demand Trial - Watford, Cardiff Stadium, Basingstoke, Manchester Central, and the FTTPoD FAQ.
Once it is launched as a commercial product I would expect Plusnet to offer it.

Hi supersports,
We'll give you your username if it's available.
Being on FTTC would not stop you moving to FTTP if it was available for you, keep an eye on http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,83633.0.html to see if there's anything for you.
