"Price Frozen" or subject to increases?

I've received offers from Plusnet to upgrade to full fibre by the end of March, stating it's a 24 month contract at £30 a month, rising to £33 on 31 March 2026. There's also a balloon saying "Price Frozen until 2026" - so far so good and a nice surprising change.

The terms however still say "On 30th March each year the monthly plan price will increase by £3 for Broadband and out of bundle charges will increase 5%."

So would it be 'fixed fixed', or 'fixed but in a way that increases immediately after you sign-up, and again mid contract'?

The latter would seem to be misleading to advertise before the increase date, but if not, why state that term in the small print of the offer?

@SwampRat That does sound a bit misleading, but effectively, you would get just the one price increase on 31/3/26, and if you decided to re-contract I would do so via the Customer Options Team via phone, rather than via any offer you got via email/the website - you may then be able to negotiate a better price.

Thanks - it took me a while, but I just had the epiphany that it is in fact March 2025, not 2024 (whoops) - so talking about a price rise in March 2026 is a fairly transparent disclosure that there's a mid term rise.
Presumably it does also mean that there isn't one a few days in - so every 30 March other than 2025...

Fair point regarding phoning for a better deal - they would also have explained which year it was for me I expect - but then they'd make me decide whether to change package and sort out some sort of VoIP

Nope - there isn't one a few days in. If you don't want to change to FF at the moment, you could just stay on what you have now, but do be aware that if you want to keep a 'landline' phone service, the PSTN  service is currently scheduled to close in January 2027 anyway, so it makes sense to arrange a VOIP service sooner rather than later - come Nov/Dec next year there is likely to be a mad scramble by everyone still on a traditional phone service to transfer, which could cause issues. Not saying it will, because more and more people are switching now, but you never know.
