signed up with Plusnet for unlimited fibre optic and residential phone. Paid £207.85.
Before signing up I asked:
1. can I get a vat invoice for my initial payment invoiced to my company?
answer yes
2. Can I get a vat invoice for every monthly payment made out to my company?
answer yes, they will be available to download from your account.
3. This is a residential phone and fibre optic service does that make a difference as I am the account holder but my company will be paying?
answer no problem we have lots of people like that
Signed up about 1 hour ago.
Logged into my account , guess what? no invoice only a pro forma "this is not a vat invoice made out to me .
Sales person still on phone who then said I will transfer you to billing who can sort this out
Rang and rang but gave up after being on hold for 30 minutes
Pretty dishonest and misleading sales person and as I say quick to sell not so quick to answer once signed up
