question regarding an outstanding balance payment?

hi, i was overdue on my plusnet bill and i am on the 13th day of the 14 day grace period. i just go one of my friends to help me out and pay the outstanding balance for me. the money was taken from her account, but on my plusnet it still says the money is overdue and i need to pay the bill? i am very worried because restrictions are going to be placed on my account tomorrow and i dont have a phone at the moment so simply contacting plusnet to sort this isnt an easy option. has the payment gone through and it just takes time to reflect? very confused. someone please help
