question re contract

hello!  I renewed my PlusNet contract a few months ago & have been more than happy with the service for broadband & phone. Unfortunately, due to my marriage breakdown I will be moving home in around 5-6 weeks. I will not be able to afford this package after I've moved so just wonder how I stand in mid-contract.  Would I have to pay the outstanding month's charges & how is this worked out.  I have got an awful lot on my plate at the moment but want to do things properly for obvious reasons. Can anyone help me/steer me in the right direction regarding my question. thank you

Re: question re contract

If you look here https://portal.plus.net/my.html?s=0&action=account_summary you should see the cancellation charge you would have to pay as of now.  But you may have recently received an email from Plusnet regarding their price rise that gave you the option to terminate your contact without any early termination charges if you respond within the 30 day time limit.  I believe you would still have to pay a £30 cessation fee to cancel your broadband service.

Re: question re contract

This gives the basic information you need http://www.plus.net/info2/legal/price_guide.html
Tables 1.8 and 2.7
However if you go here it should show the cancellation charges which will include a broadband cease charge which is £30 http://www.plus.net/support/customer_service/billing/cessation_charges.shtml
However if you go to here https://portal.plus.net/my.html?s=0&action=account_summary it may give the information for your specific case
There is another option which may be possible which is to use the free house move option and move down to a cheaper package
In either case your best bet is to phone the house move team http://www.plus.net/support/customer_service/moving_guide.shtml
  The contact details are
    0800 013 2632
    0330 123 9197
Monday to Friday: 9.00am - 8.00pm (Except Bank Holidays)
    Saturday: 9.00am - 5.30pm
EDIT
The post above is very valid and the numbers to contact are the above
