price change opt out question.

I have received an email telling me I can opt out with no penalty fees because the price is going up.
Can I leave and then rejoin as a new customer enjoying the new customer benefits or do I have to leave and go to a different provider?
I'd like to do this as fibre has recently been implemented in my area and I'd like to go with that.
thanks

Re: price change opt out question.

I'd suspect you'd have to cease everything, which would cost way more than you'd save.

phoned the customer options team - all sorted with a new contract now. Upgraded from broadband to fibre and its actually costing less!
