Re: plusnet is a joke Take money willy nilly ( I PAY TO SORT YOUR PROBLEMS)

xkerryx,
First off please accept our apologies, its clear to see that you have been double billed twice, we know this happening once is bad enough and we are very regretful.
The first instance of this happening on invoice 21191468 was a system problem, the issue is now fixed and we are confident that this won't happen again.
The second instance was on 21206044 this was entirely human error by a new member of staff. Please accept our apologies for that, this has been fed back to the person that caused the issue.
If there are any other instances of this happening that you are aware of I'm afraid that we would need to see evidence in the form of a copied bank statement.
With regards to post office payments, we have never offered this and I doubt we ever will. So I'm really not sure how any confusion could have arisen over that as we do make it clear that we only offer payment by card or direct debit to our customers.
If you do need to send a statement then please also send us proof of any charges as we will make sure that these are refunded to you.
We hope that this does not permanently tarnish your view of Plusnet and that you can see that we are genuinely concerned by what happened here. I think we owe you a good will gesture, with this in mind I have discounted next months broadband subscription from you. I hope this at least goes part way to being an apology.
Adam.

Bit harsh pierre_pierre we're not out to rob anyone, however we will never deny any problems we have caused inadvertently or otherwise as we have not in this case. Also the billing system error that affected this particular customer has been fixed.

We know, I just need to make clear that what happened here and indeed elsewhere was not done intentionally, that any system affecting issues have been fixed and that we are dealing with the issue in hand.

Re: plusnet is a joke Take money willy nilly ( I PAY TO SORT YOUR PROBLEMS)

xkerryx,
I'm sorry that we can only offer you empathy rather than a solution to the billing problem as we simply don't have any evidence to show this at the moment. Drop me a heads up on here when you do receive this and are able to send it through to us and I'll make sure we deal with it straight away.
With regards to loss of sync we would never admit to that being acceptable and want to help you on that front, I can see on your account that you did use the fault checker about a month ago and the tests were inconclusive, this sounds like what you are referring to when you say
Quote
But alls good acording to you,s

As far as the issues with your connection go could you complete the fault checker again at https://faults.plus.net and drop me a reply on here once you have, I'll then make sure you get some priority.

Re: plusnet is a joke Take money willy nilly ( I PAY TO SORT YOUR PROBLEMS)

Just a quick update following on from my phone call earlier.
We've changed the fault type from no sync to a dropping connection as you seem to be getting a number of short disconnections throughout the day.
We'll report back again as soon as we have any more updates for you.

Re: plusnet is a joke Take money willy nilly ( I PAY TO SORT YOUR PROBLEMS)

This is the second thread I've read this week where a customer has been billed multiple times in a single month and on both occasions the customer has said that they were offered Post Office payments yet PN say this isn't possible?
I too had billing issues which took ages to sort out  - hope my new ISP is better!

Re: plusnet is a joke Take money willy nilly ( I PAY TO SORT YOUR PROBLEMS)

julesandsand,
Let us know how you get on, we'd be interested to hear how your experience squares up with what happened when you were with is.
Obviously it's up to you to draw your own conclusions but its worth bearing in mind that a very small percentage of our customer base post on this forum and those that do tend to mostly use to to raise complaints or concerns so with that in mind we're confident that what you can read on here is not representative of the over all experience of the majority of our customers.
I am sorry that you were also affected by a billing issue, I remember the discussions we had about that as I'm sure you can also see when issues like this are raised on here and staff are able to help, we always do.

Re: plusnet is a joke Take money willy nilly ( I PAY TO SORT YOUR PROBLEMS)

I will let you know.
I have to say though that when I rang up to obtain my MAC code, I was told that anything outstanding on my account would be taken via DD. However in the email containing my MAC code was the following text.

Please note:
1. We are unable to take final payments via Direct Debit. Please make sure a valid Credit or Debit card is stored on your account.

Another example of conflicting advice.
I do not, and have no intention of, storing my credit card details on my account.
However I have to say that I'm not leaving PN because of problems with my service, I simply wanted to try a LLU provider to see if I can obtain higher speed.
