odd email from support@force9

hi,
i have just got an email to my external domain email address which has nothing to do with the plusnet group.
'You're receiving this email as our records indicate that you currently have a dial up account with us and this service is assigned a static IP address '
also it addressed to an account and username that is nothing to do with me,
i can only assume that someone has been using my email in some way or there is a problem with plusnets automated emails
who should i contact about this...

It doesn't, it affects the name of the account on the email. The email address we sent it to *is* on that account and has been for many many years.

FYI I've removed the email address from that account until we contact the account holder.
