new customer payment

So I've just paid for the initial set-up  for my plusnet internet, I was wondering if the monthly charge started immediately effective of the first payment or after the set-up.
Just thought it'd be silly paying for something I'm not yet using

Your next monthly charge will be one month after service is activated.
