new account instalation query

Hi
I was given intall dates of either 21feb 22 feb or 25 feb. Received a text saying should be active by midnight on the 22feb. My question is, when are bt coming to do the required work? Is it the morning of the 22feb? Or the morning of the 21feb?

Hi Kippers,
What kind of broadband are you having installed - ADSL or FTTC?
If it is the former (ADSL) there is no need for a BT engineer to visit.  Smiley
Professionals are predictable - it's the amateurs that are dangerous!

It's the way the system works.  The automated message says it will be enabled the day after your engineer arrives to install FTTC connection.  But would wait for plusnet staff to confirm this.  However you should have received some contact telling you when the engineer is supposed to arrive as you need to be in or they charge you for a missed appointment.

Thanks for the info, must say the info from Plus net could be a bit clearer.
BT should be here then on the 21st AM. I will wait for the info from Plusnet

Yeah that sounds about right kippers.  It's what mine said.  I just decided to see what would happen as when I spotted the you will be activated the day after message I double checked the date BT engineer was due and figured I would orry about it on the day after as I had booked both days of work just in case Smiley (I had annual leave to use at any rate)
