my bill ?

was just wondering , every month i get a email / text telling me you are about to take money from my account , this is not a problem.... but what is  you never inform me of the amount you are going to take and i dont know how much it is untill it has gone from my account.
why do i not see the amount to be taken Prior to its taken out ?
or why when you sent me a text or email am i not informed what my bill is ?
the reason being is i am only getting benifts due to 2 heart attacks so funds are tight , if i knew the amounts to be taken it would be easier for me to arrange funds for that day  rather than making late payments

I presume you are paying by card rather than direct debit as when paying by direct debit the invoice is available at https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=view_transactions&s=0 on the day you get the email and the money is not taken until several days later.
If funds are tight, why are you paying extra £1.50 for the privilege of paying by card?

i know its £1.50 extra but if its not in the account at the correct time the bank take £30  so 1.50 is the cheaper option .
but it shouldnt make any difference which way i pay to be informed of the amount first rather than just a plain text

You should receive an email that looks the same as the ones pierre and Jim have posted above, looking at your account they should be sent to a btinternet email address? Do you still use that one, and if so could they be going into a spam folder?

Cheers Matt , yes i do get a Email but it never  states the amount ?  thats why i ask it juat says the date due to be taken

What's the reference number on your email message (below the signature)? Mine says "Email ref: E0281" and tells me the amount.

Do you have Home phone? If so PN don't know how much the bill will be in advance.

I have and that doesn't stop them giving me three days notice of the direct debit

sorry but i empty my emails on closing , and just save the ones i need in a folder , just checked aint got a email to post  will see what happens next month

Totally irrelevant to this case!
You pay by direct debit, the invoice is raised on the billing date and you are sent an email telling you how much will be taken in a few days time.
rongtw pays by card. He is sent an email three days in advance of the billing date. At that stage the amount to be billed for is undetermined, he may have home phone and there are extra calls, in the last three days he may go over his usage allowance and pay for extra usage.

i understand what your sayin Jelv , yes i have the phone / extra so i have 60gig allowance which i never go near 30  gig is my max usage on average as to the phone bill i have the anytime add on so call cost is minimal free local calls all day
