moving home queries

I've accepted an offer on my house and i am planning to move in with a friend from beginning dec until probably feb as i cannot find a rental property in the location i want to move to.
my query is i am obviously cutting off the bt number - and i will have a new number once i find a place to live but that could be jan or feb. what procedure is followed in this case and what fees if any will i need to factor in as i will be billing my ex for 1/2 the bills.  Angry

HI yogaliv,
We can sometimes put accounts on hold and this may be of help in your situation. We could cease the line at this property and leave the account live which would mean we could just add to it once you get a new place. Our customer options team should be able to explain exactly what it'll mean. You can call them on 0845 140 6002 mon-fri 9am-5.30pm.
