http://www.plus.net/pay is still not working. Any ETA on when it will be working again?

http://www.plus.net/pay is redirecting to https://portal.plus.net/apps/payment/failed/retry and displaying "Error. Sorry, we are not able to complete this request at the moment, please try again later". I've tested this from multiple browsers and via 4G. 

Do we know when it will be working again?

I chatted with Plusnet yesterday and was told "We're aware it's having issues certainly, we already have our networks team working on it" which I interpreted as "to be fixed soon", but obviously that is not the case. A ballpark figure is enough, i.e. is it expected to be working in a few hours/days/weeks/months.

Welcome to the forums. So the pages work fine, but the problem is that restrictions are being placed on some service earlier than they should be which is preventing access incorrectly. 

 

That said I noticed you mentioned it not working over a 4g connection, this should absolutely not be the case. Initially I've performed some preventative actions which should remove any early restrictions in place. Can you test this to see if it allows you to access the website at all.

It's this specific page/link http://www.plus.net/pay that is not working. Are you saying that specific page is working for you?

I can access the plus.net web site and login to my account okay, and I can access other web sites okay. It is just that payment page that is returning the error, i.e., the link you text for late payment or publish in these forums.

It's still broken for me. BTW, you need to be logged in when you click the link to see the error. If you are not logged in then it takes you to the log in page and then onto https://www.plus.net/member-centre/home. 

I've tried https://www.plus.net/pay (https), and http://www.plus.net/pay/ (trailing /) and they both return the same error.

@cucumber1,

 

The 'pay' link will only work if there's an outstanding payment actually registered on your account. 

 

If you have no outstanding payment it will give you an error (for some reason). 

 

If there's an outstanding payment, but it isn't correctly registered as outstanding on our systems then it will probably give you the error thinking there's no payment outstanding. 

 

If restrictions are applied early (as per the problem mentioned above) then it will likely white screen when trying to access the PN pages unless we manually remove the restrictions when accessing the page will then work.

Okay. So I guess I am "there's an outstanding payment, but it isn't correctly registered as outstanding on our systems". Is there any way to get the outstanding payment registered as outstanding so I can make a payment? Or is there any way I can trigger it to request the direct debit again?
