I am unable to go on http sites due to it timing out and then redirecting me to "http://failed.billing.plus.net/apps/payment/failed" each time. Sometimes it shows up with "something went wrong, we are working on it and you should be able to continue browsing soon" or sometimes it just completely times out. This doesn't occur on any HTTPS websites and I have to use a VPN in order to be able to go on the sites.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

I've tried resetting the router and getting a new IP address also and that did not fix the issue.

I've discussed this with a colleague from our engineering team and it looks like the problem is similar to this one here.
We're investigating this further for you to try to fix this and I'll update you when I know more.

I think someone needs to look at your failed billing page though, it never loads up and just results in a connection reset message or a forever loading page, it was also preventing me from loading up the plusnet website itself (though forums were fine) 😧

It almost is a single button I can press to fix the issue you had.
I've spoken to my engineering colleague not long ago and it's an issue they're aware of and working on I believe.

New month, same problem - I'm unable to log into my account or even view the payment page. It just times out over and over again.

@MasterOfReality Yes, I can assure you this is still a problem at your end - I have a laptop on IE, this laptop on Firefox and a tablet on Chrome, all with the same issue that lots of your other customers are having (and have been for months). We just want to be able to pay after a failed billing.
