fibre prices

My Exchange is due to get fttc later this year 🙂 . at present I have the 60gb adsl2 package and pay and extra £5 per month for the pro upgrade. Total cost £16.49 per month.
I have just been looking at the FTTC prices and it states that the cost will be £10 more per month than i am currently paying so for 21.49 i would get 120Gb fibre package without the pro upgrade.
My question is would i still have to pay and extra £5 per month for the extra upgrade or would the 21.49 package be all i would need to pay for. Does the "pro" package still exist on fibre?

Re: fibre prices

I may have misunderstood but I assume the £5 Extra upgrade is the Pro addon i didn't  Grin
Moving from Extra to Extra Fibre is an extra £10 on the basic cost  (move to Value Fibre is only £5 more) but the Pro addon would be extra to those prices if you wanted to keep it

Re: fibre prices

Cheers Oldjim,
I couldn't find a mention of extra fibre pro on the main site but i do see it on the linked page you sent and the differences in protocols. Considering that the line would be so much faster I think I'll drop the extra bit when my line is upgraded.
Thanks for you reply.

That hasn't been updated to remove the 20M surfing restriction on Value and Extra Fibre between 6 and 11pm, which was done a week or so ago. Plusnet's own page  at http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/speed_guide/download_speeds.shtml has been updated.
