direct debits on a weekeend

got an email that my direct debit will be taking after the 8th of june, but hasn't being taken yet..
just want to know if you guys take money on saturdays and sundays

I stand to be corrected here, but as they are not working days for the banks, that no payments take place on a Sat/Sun.
You may however be able to see the DD leaving your account on the Monday if you login to your online banking site over the weekend.

PN claim three working days, if that falls on a week end or bank holiday, it can take place 7 days after the end of month date
