You already have a product change in progress

Hi can any body help, a few days ago I signed up for a new 18 month contract at the deal price I was offered, I received an email with confirmation of the package change. when I go to my account it shows I already have a product change in progress, can you check to see if the order is in progress and when the account and package will be updated, I have difficulty using a phone to contact support due to being hard of hearing.

@WJHodg Welcome to the forum. If that message has only just appeared, it will be the way the system is designed - the BT ordering system, which Plusnet - or any ISP using the BT network - has to use, and unfortunately it can only handle one change at a time, hence the stopping of any other orders being placed on it until that is completed.

Thanks jab1 for fast reply, that message went on as soon as I signed up for the upgrade and has been there ever since Approximately 6 days.

As I said, it is an automatic lock to prevent any attempts at further changes, as trying to add more could confuse the BT systems - not hard, believe me. 😉
