Will my broadband speed reduce with new contract

Got an email from Plusnet suggesting a better broadband/line rental package.

In the email it says my current out-of-contract package has: "Unlimited broadband with average speeds of 10Mb".
However, website says my current package has estimated download speed of 3-4Mb.
Website also says the suggested new lower price contacted package has estimated download speed of 3-4Mb.

I Ran the broadband speed test which gave download speed of 6.77Mbps.

My question is: if I change my contract to this new one, are my download speeds going to be lower than current package?

Thanks for any help.

@Okay If you stay on ADSL, as I assume from the figures quoted is your current connection, merely agreeing to this new package will have no effect. All providers under-estimate your speed so that if it drops they can still say 'you're within estimate' and they don't have do anything until the service totally fails.
