Who wins?

I signed up for Plusnet after fights with Tiscali over poor poor service, I also recommended Plusnet to my daughter's inlaws.  Now they are almost up and running and Im cooling my heels thanks to Tiscali not providing a MAC code until it suited them.  Even though I will be online after them, will it still count as a referral from me? anyone know?
