When do I actually start being billed?

Hi,

Recently moved away from Sky due to appalling billing practices (no bill was ever the same and amounts were all over the place). Signed up to PlusNet and recieved welcome e-mail 5th July, signing up to a contractless Unlimited broadband package, paying £61 for the first month, setup, and router postage. Block on the line by Sky released the 8th July, have now recieved PlusNet router and an e-mail saying the ETA date for go-live is the 26th of July - three weeks after signing up. Does this mean the first month we'll "loose" the first three weeks, or does the first month only start when the service goes active?

@tombull89

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Plusnet start to charge you from the day the product goes live so the money paid upfront for line rental and broadband will be used from that day forward. So the money isn't lost Smiley
