When can I order fibre?

My number is now showing as active from 30/9 on the bt checker, but the pn one just offers me adsl.
So when can I place the order for fibre given that there is a delay before a visit?
My billing date is 23rd so really want to get it ordered by 22/9 for activation by 30/9

Hello Hairy Biker,
As much as we'd love to be able to order it for you for when the service goes live, it's not possible for the order to be placed until the technology has been confirmed to be ready for service.
The dates shown on the availability checker are subject to change. Therefore, we can never guarantee that these dates are set in stone.
Our suppliers will also prevent us from doing any Fibre orders until the service is confirmed to be ready.

Seems to be a common thing at the moment.
Fingers crossed, everything will go smoothly for you. Just to let you know, the average lead time for an engineer to install the service is round about 10 working days, depending on the area.
