When Does My Contract End?

I have received a renewal line rental email, but wanted to know when will my 12 month contract end for home-phone and internet?
Thanks

Re: When Does My Contract End?

Hi saarah,
I've popped Ticket: 82291039 on your account detailing your account information. Hope this helps!

Re: When Does My Contract End?

Along similar lines I wonder why my account still has (Contracted) next to it?
Surely, as the actual contract ended months ago, this should have changed.

Re: When Does My Contract End?

That's because you pay the contracted rate.  Remember that some PN products are available without a contract but they cost more per month.

Re: When Does My Contract End?

The use of the term "Contract" in this way is pretty misleading, you are almost always in a contract of some sort, written or implied, for goods or services.
What is important are the terms, such as initial minimum terms, notice periods, charges that are deferred and then cancelled after a certain time, etc. etc.
Relevant/applicable contract terms can and do change over time.

The way I do it is to go here https://portal.plus.net/my.html?s=0&action=account_summary and look at the cost upon cancellation

That's because you pay the contracted rate.

And after the contracted period is over it continues at the same rate by the month.
This should be more clear on the summery page.
Still having contracted next to your account implies that Plusnet still have some agreed hold over you.
That may not be the case but maybe Plusnet would like customers to think that. Maybe it will even put some off from leaving. Maybe that's the idea.

Re: When Does My Contract End?

It's a description of the product - which translates to cost per month, not a statement related to the present status of customer accounts.
