What happened to my Referrals?

What happened to my Referrals?

Can some one from Force9/PlusNet tell me why I am no longer getting my referrals.

I have been with Force9 since 3th July 1998

Re: What happened to my Referrals?

Is this a non-subscription account? We stopped paying referrals on those a while back.

Re: What happened to my Referrals?

@bobpullen would a paid for email only account be classed as a subscription account, in order to keep referrals?

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: What happened to my Referrals?

@Midnight_Caller Can you PM me your username and I'll check this for you?

No. We'll only provide referrals on broadband accounts now.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: What happened to my Referrals?

@bobpullen, So why did PlusNet do that?

For years people have been getting them, but now BT got it's grubby hands on PlusNet one thing after another has been stopped or cut.

So now you are saying for me to get my referrals back is to get broadband from you!

Sorry but your broadband pricing is not competitive, I pay £5 with SKY for 12mg unlimited through ADSL.

Oh and SKY got the permanent fault removed from the line for Free, BT was going to charge me anything from £25000 to £30000 to get the fault removed, I still remember it from when I tried to get broadband from Force9.

[Edit]

Oh and many thanks to all who tryed to help me.

Re: What happened to my Referrals?

My understanding is that this shouldn't have happened and we've made a decision to correct it in line with our terms and conditions over here: https://www.plus.net/help/legal/my-referrals-scheme/

Relevant discussion here and here, from around the time the email notices were sent.

Re: What happened to my Referrals?

But you need a broadband or phone account, which you don't have.

Perhaps be thankful for the years you did get paid it?
