Today Sat 21 st June I recieved an email which seems very authentic from plusnet asking me to varify my account because there has been a number of failed attempts too log into my account?? and giving me 7 days to do so before my account is temporaly locked. When I click onto the proceed to varification button I was taken to Ebay next attempt I was taken too Linkedin.
Is this a silly scam ?
Regards

I'm treating it as a scam because it's impossible to ask Plusnet themselves about it.
The examples shared around here state that if you’ve got questions then contact Plusnet support. The support pages detail both how to contact the support desk and to how deal with suspicious email messages.
Amongst other content see https://www.plus.net/content/plusnet/en/help/legal/service-abuse.html
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
