Understanding my bill

Hi I thought I was paying for line rental upfront but I've just been told it's expired. I haven't the energy to negotiate the phones or chat again so can anyone tell me what 'Anytime with mobile charge' is please on my bill? Is it Line Rental under a different name? I'm currently comparing my package with other providers before I leave due to the price hike.
Thanks
M

Re: Understanding my bill

Thanks Dave but then I'm even more confused! This is my latest bill. I thought I was paying line rental upfront but the chap I spoke to on chat last night told me it had expired so where is the line rental on the below bill summary and why is there a call plan charge and Anytime with mobile charge?

1 Call charge - 08/07/2015 £0.90
1 Unlimited Fibre - Market 2/3 charge 08/07/2015 07/08/2015 £14.99
1 Anytime with Mobile charge 08/07/2015 07/08/2015 £15.95
1 Call Plan charge 08/07/2015 07/08/2015 £8.00
1 Special Offer Discount - - -£2.49
Thanks
Mary

This should help explain:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bilvj4qb0ik
In summary,
Anytime with Mobile charge  08/07/2015  07/08/2015  £15.95 - This is your line rental
Call Plan charge  08/07/2015  07/08/2015  £8.00 -  This is your call plan

Re: Understanding my bill

Yes the charge is for standard line rental but the words describe what is covered by the call plan line further down. I assume the £8.00 there is made up of £5.00 for Anytime and £3.00 for mobile minutes
This way of describing things is a "feature" of Plusnet's billing system.
The line covering line rental would say £0.00 if rental saver was in effect. If the OP wants to reinstate it, this can be done at http://www.plus.net/rentalsaver

Re: Understanding my bill

Thanks for that spraxyt; I'd never really looked at my bill in detail before but you are spot on - nonsensical way of  putting it -wonder if this is going to be altered when the new system finally "rolls into the station" Grin
