Unavailable broadband offer

When I receive my monthly broadband/phone package bill I am routinely urged to upgrade to fibre broadband (with Hub2 router) for £25.50 a month. Clicking ‘upgrade now’ takes me to a page with only one option - to retain my existing package which costs £10 more a month.

Is the inability to subscribe to the suggested package due to technical shortcomings or to limitations placed by Plusnet?

My local exchange is approx 400 yards from my house.

@ajax

It just might be FTTP is available to you - the PlusNet website hasn't caught up with this yet. Saying that, it usually returns an error page inviting you to call in.

You can check using the following. Look for WBC FTTP in the left hand column.

Alternatively ring the Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 and ask to be upgraded for that price. Don’t forget to ask for a Hub 2.;This number is normally answered quite quickly.
