Unable to pay bill

I cancelled my account in January. In April I received a bill for a very small amount (I assume because I cancelled a day too early?). I am now being chased for this amount because the Direct Debit has changed (Because it was cancelled after January). However I cannot set up card payment details online because my account is no longer active and I cannot pay over the phone as I cannot get through. How can I make a payment or alternatively, given the amount outstanding (less than £1), can the balance be written off?

I'm sorry that it's not allowing you to make this payment online and that you have been unable to get through to an advisor over the phone.


Due to the small amount that is involved, I'm happy to get this written off for you. It's not allowing me to do this at the moment as the account isn't yet showing as being in failed payment on my side. I'll keep hold of this and will get this written off for you as soon as I can. Please ignore any automated emails that you may receive about this bill in the meantime.
