Trying to make an online payment

How on earth do you make a one off payment for a failed direct debit payment? Trying to get my account up to date using a debit card on the plus net website.
I’ve reset up my direct debit instruction for next month.
I’ve followed the links around and around and around from the emails sent me by plus net alerting me to the fact my direct debit wasn’t paid this month but cannot make a one off payment today.
The link to plusnet pay does not work and comes up with an error message.
Does anyone know if you can pay by back?
Any help would be appreciated.

You should phone and select "thinking of leaving". Before 8am is said to be the best time but worth trying any time.
