Timing of Cancellation important?

Apparently it can take 10 days to cancel a broadband subscription and transfer it to another company, if this runs into the next billing period would I be charge for a full month or just for the short period I am still a customer of Plusnet?

Sorry to be a bearer off bad news but the 10 days is the notice period that PN require under the T&C's to transfer can be a lot longer.

The broadband transfer will generally take 5 working days.
@Christmas - If you had "over-paid" subscription, we can refund what you haven't used outside the 10 day notice period.

You could be up and running in around 11 days with no break in your service.
But before you get started, you may need your MAC code…

and as PN take 5 days to issue a MAC this can take it to 16 days.

Thank you for the reply.
I wouldn't have been asking if Plusnet weren't sponsoring Big Brother and putting their commercial interests before the well being of others.
