Switching When Contract Ends Information Required.

Hello,

You have to give 14 days notice to leave Plusnet. My contract ends on 22/09/18. If I wanted to leave before that time would I incur a charge?

Say I decided to go with another provider when would I do this?

Re: Switching When Contract Ends Information Required.

Thank you for your reply. It answers part of the question.

If I were to switch providers how can I avoid the cancellation fee, as in what date? Does it need to be exactly 22/09/18 while giving the 14 days notice?

So you would need to get notified on the 8th and could the switch over be timed to the 22nd?

I hope that makes sense.

Re: Switching When Contract Ends Information Required.

Hi @khorghakh,

As long as you give us at least 14 days notice before the date that you would like to cancel your services with us then we can arrange for the cancellation date to coincide alongside the date that the switch over takes place.

Re: Switching When Contract Ends Information Required.

I have decided to switch to John Lewis Broadband (which is linked to PlusNet).

I couldn't find an option to have it switch over on the 22nd (because it was on the weekend... much weirdness and something to remember for the next time).

So the options I had were the 21st or the 24th, I went to the 24th to avoid early cancellation fee, I am hoping keeping the service to the 24th will cost less.

Fix

Hi there @khorghakh,

I can confirm Plusnet will be your broadband and phone supplier until the switch takes place on your desired date that you have requested with John Lewis.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
