Switch away from Plusnet to BT

I ordered BT Fibre and have been given a date of the 23rd September from BT.

Upon looking on the BT Wholesale checker for what speeds I can expect it now says the following near the bottom.

"There is currently a broadband cease pending or in progress against this line. This cease is due to complete by the 23rd September 2019. This will not stop you ordering broadband from a new supplier , but it will delay the provision of the new broadband service."

Is this correct and all fine with my switch to BT ? I was concerned with it saying cease.

I thought it worth asking the question as I've always had great support from Plusnet epecially on here.

Re: Switch away from Plusnet to BT

@dawebuser,

It's nothing to worry about. When migrations take place the losing provider's order will show as the order on checkers. In this case it's listed as a cease, ideally it would say modify, or change to make it less confusing, but it's the limitations of the checker.

In your case it's just the transfer of your service to your new provider.
