I don't need this quite yet, but will in a few months time.
I've read that you can suspend your account with Plusnet when it isn't required for short periods of time.
Could someone confirm how long this can be used for (minimum and maximum periods) and if any costs are involved? Also, is reactivation after suspension free and how quickly would this happen?

We can do this for up to six months at a time. This can also be done for free (providing you have not moved house within the past 12 months, its £40 if you have).
Suspension is immediate but I would advise doing this to coincide with your billing date to save paying for a service you'd otherwise be unable to use. Reactivation can take a week, although I'd advise giving us a couple of weeks notice if you can, this is as the process involves ceasing and reconnecting the broadband service.
