Still trying to be charged for cancelled internet

Hi, I cancelled my contract over a month ago, paid the £25 fee to completely cut the line off, paid I think it was £16 or £13 as I was half way through the billing month.
Today I received an email asking me to update my card details before 13th march so payment can be taken for broadband.
Please rectify this, thank you.

Thanks for getting in contact, apologies for the issues you have encountered and the emails you are receiving regarding outstanding payments. It appears the account had not fully closed down which is why you were still getting emails from us. I have cancelled the account for you now with immediate effect and this should now stop any further communication.

I am being chased for payment on previous contract terms, despite calling Plusnet on 1 March to organise direct debit for my new contract.
My direct debit was confirmed by email by Plusnet on 1 March.
Please update your records.

Cannot believe PN are still making mistakes after being fined for the same thing

Thank you for your message, Plusnet.
I see from the link you sent that I have been credited a small amount, presumably to adjust to the new lower monthly rate before the new direct debit kicks in. You have sent multiple emails and texts and repeatedly interrupted my internet use, in order to demand an incorrectly high amount, completely unnecessarily.
I have tried to pay online on a number of occasions but always get a message saying the webpage may be temporarily down or moved to another address.
