Spurious phone line cease order

Has anyone else had a totally spurious cease order placed on their account?
On 6th Feb, a ticket was raised on my account to say that I was cancelling my Plusnet phone service. I have never had any intention of doing this!
The latest ticket says: "A LLU PSTN cease has been placed on this account. This is due to complete on 20/02/2014."  Does this look like an LLU provider on my local exchange (there is only one) has made a false claim that I want to move?
I am mighty pissed. You can imagine how pissed I'll be if I end up with TalkTalk, or whoever, against my will.

Re: Spurious phone line cease order

Hi there.
It looks like BT Retail were trying to take over the line. It might have been that they were trying to take over a similar number but got one of the digits wrong
I've just cancelled that down for you now so your phone line will stay with us.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused

Re: Spurious phone line cease order

Mystery solved!
BT has written to say that one of their customers is moving to this address on 20th Feb, but I've knocked that on the head.
Their customer has obviously given them the wrong new address. Wrong addresses happen quite a lot in this postcode....
