If you haven't had any Engineer visits that would rule out the engineer test call.
Have you got a sky box connected to your phone?

No sky box and I suggested engineers test call loosely (having worked for them for over twenty years and know a line can be tapped on anywhere in the network)

In the past I have seen boxes that connect via the telephone produce charges similar to yours.However, not having a sky box or similar products connected this is probably not the case.
I can' t not see any other reason than the other suggested!!!!!!! I didn't want to go down that road as this should not be happening :S
I will get the call charge refunded.
Could you please make me aware if this happens again???
