To help my father set me up as an authorised user and billing nominee (broadband and phone) I thought I would go through the process myself (i.e. setup my own user and nominee), to be better able to assist him.
Seeing the Additional Support Form link in My Account I thought I might be able to do it all online or by post. Unfortunately after filling in the form, the email I received seems to require contact by phone. My father is hard of hearing and I don't think it would be possible to do it this way.
In the email the options are:
Authorised nominee: Phone or online chat [you might want to edit that given chat is no longer available]
Service Protect Scheme (billing nominee): There is the option to download an application form, except it states 'If you need us to send you an application form in the post please call 0800 432 0200.'
Is there any way to setup an authorised user and billing nominee without using the phone?
