No need to be concerned about spending more than you intend on your broadband usage. You can set your maximum monthly usage on our website - https://portal.plus.net/data_transfer_watch/
well this isnt the case, as i was told on the phone i could go to a link in the accoutn and set the limit of my usuage so that it caps my speed.
how ever after going to the link, all you get is setting the amount of money for EXTRA usuage ontop.
I DONT WANT THAT.
so where is the set the 10gb usuage for the cap to be started?

cheers for that, but to be honest it REALLY should be in black and white as to what you need to do, as its not exactly common sense on the page.

I agree matherlisett as it says '(enter multiples of £5.00)' and £0 is not a multiple of £5 in my book.

0 is an overlooked number. Asked people what the decimal system is and they will say 1 to 10 which is wrong it's 0 to 9.
5 x 0 = 0
5 x 1 = 5
5 x 2 = 10
5 x 0 = 0
5 x 1 = 5
5 x 2 = 10
