Second Home & Paying For Broadband I Cannot Use

Hi,

I  am a second home owner and PlusNet Broadband customer. Due to covid-19 I am unable to travel to my second home and consequently cannot use my PlusNet Broadband. 

Given that lockdown has been going on for two months and likely to continue am I able to request a credit on a monthly bill as I am effectively paying for a service that I cannot use?

Do you expect the electricity, gas & water utilities, Council to do likewise?
I expect not, so as PN are providing you a service, it's not their fault you can't use.

I think a lot of people are in a similar situation I have a U/L Minutes U/L Texts and 10GB data on a 12 month contract which cannot be changed if I was on a 30 day I could reduce the amounts

The data is used to tether my laptop when we are at the caravan which the site is closed so I have had no usage for months

Hopefully things will return to normal soon
