Router Delivery

Apologies if this is in the wrong thread.
I am expecting my fibre to go active on December 27th. My worry is that I will not receive the router in time being that it's Christmas. Should I worry, or will it be posted in time

Re: Router Delivery

Generally they arrive "just in time" but if you get stuck without one, you can hook your PC directly up to the modem provided by BT and use a direct connection until the router arrives.

Re: Router Delivery

Normally we dispatch the routers so they arrive 2 days before the activation date, however in previous years I remember us making this a bit earlier at this time of year so I'll mention that to our hardware guys.
I've just ordered your router, so it should get to you in plenty of time.

Re: Router Delivery

Thanks picbits and Chris.
Just another question. Open reach arrive on activation day right? Just not familiar with the process.
Thanks in advance
