I have decided to get a cheaper broadband so I switched from Plusnet. The new broadband started on 10th but the last direct debit was taken on 9th this month. That's more or less a full month to refund and I was out of contract for ages so no cancellation fees either. I was contacted by two emails that my account was closed but I haven't received any details about the refund as expected since service providers never want to refund former customers. Is there any refund policy and if so when should I expect my money? Thanks
Within 21 days of account closure, a final invoice will generate detailing any money due back to yourself. You'll then be sent an email at the same time with a link where you can have this refund processed.
