Refund for 12 months line rental paid 10/07/19

Afternoon All

Can someone tell me when I can expect to receive refund of £210.88 paid 10/07/19 for 12 months line rental upfront. 

Big bad BT "sweet-talked" me into staying with them so reluctantly cancelled my Plusnet order but so far only received invoice showing credit to my account?

Hi @Colin7828, thanks for getting in touch.

I can see a ticket has been raised off to our Billing Department to have this refund processed. I'd imagine this will get picked up in the next few days and the refund will then be issued back to you.

Surprised it's not automatic upon cancelling?

Hi Colin, normally refunds for contract payments are processed within 30 days following a cancellation automatically, however, in cases with one off payments such as line rental saver, these have to be done manually.

As Alice mentioned before, with it being the weekend coming up, it'll take a few days for it to be picked up, but we'll let you know when the refund is being actioned.
