Referral Bounty for account upgrades?

Good luck getting the referral changed - I've tried in the past and failed miserably - some other lucky devil has my referral associated with their account after I picked up a cookie somewhere along the way.
If you do manage it, you'll have to ask 'em about mine....

New thread to discuss and establish what happens when a non-referral fee earning account is upgraded to a referral earning account type.
EG:
I refer a friend to a PAYG Dial-up account.
No bounty to be paid, and no referral fee to be paid.
If that customer subsequently upgrades to a subs account which pays a referral fee, clearly the ongoing referral payment would be made to me.
Would I also get a bounty payment? (assuming one was applicable at the time)

I remember speaking to you about that when I worked at PlusNet saying that we'll make sure it gets done.  Someone in Comms should be able to fix it for you.

IIRC, they were on PAYG Basic - so £9.99 and no referral value.  No reason why not to switch to BBYW Option 1 at £9.99/month and you get 25p a month 🙂

No poking required. Its hurts too much.
PAYG dial up, depending on when the account was created I can deal with.

Basically a lot of referrers / resellers create a PAYG dial account for their referral customers and subsequently upgrade to an adsl account. Providing the time frame is reasonable, (IE a few days) we will allow the full referral bonus to be applied. However an existing adsl customer upgrading is not elligible for the bonus although the increased monthly value will apply.
We'll certainly take a favourable look at that ticket in the morning and get that sorted.
