Rang to terminate my contract, what are the charges and when will I be billed?

Hi, so moving into another property at the end of the month.

Am 6 months into a 12 month contract with next billing period coming up 24.10.25 - 23.11.25 (paid by monthly DD on the 1st of each month), so rang them today to give 14 days notice, I specifically asked for contract and service to end on Friday 31st October.

Whole call took 30 minutes and was eventually told yes, your last day will be 31st October and service will end. Guy said I have done that for you and you will get a final bill with early termination charges within next 20 days. He also said he's sent me an email while on the phone to him, but after waiting 5 minutes and refreshing my mail, nothing came so ended the call.

Still no email, but can anyone tell me please WHAT these early termination charges will be and what roughly my final bill will be?

Below is the Plusnet package I cancelled at lunch time.

Thank you.

Andy

...and isn't this 5 months remaining not 6 as shown on my Plusnet dashboard?

If he sent an email, a copy of it will be available on your account - use this link to access it, it will probably be under 'closed questions. https://www.plus.net/member-centre/login?p=search

Hi jab1,

That link does nothing for me, just takes me to sign-in page then shows my package details 👀

@andyt1970 He should have been able to tell you that in the phone conversation, but maybe if you call the Customer Options Team - 0800 013 2632  - tomorrow, they may be more helpful.

Probably about £161.94, which will be the remainder of your twelve month contract - 6 months.

Having had a look at this - Early Termination Charges - it's a bit more complicated than I first thought.
