Re: Rang to terminate my contract, what are the charges and when will I be billed?

@andyt1970 It is a long time since I cancelled, and my PN   invoices are on an old external, not easy to get at, but IIRC, a final invoice carries a notice to that effect.

@MisterW I wondered about that too, but if we get confirmation that this latest invoice says somewhere that is the final one...

@MisterW

Possibly a decision to waive the ETCs?

I would suspect that (for example) where a user migrates to EE (initiated by Plusnet) and ETCs are waived, they are in fact charged (that’s the normal process) and then credited as a not normal process adjustment.

Thanks all.

So there is a chance this is not my final bill?

I don't understand it.

I keep trying to ring them but can't hang on all day due to work.

Is there anyone on here who can check and confirm what is going on please with my billing.

Thanks 🤔

@andyt1970 Without seeing thee whole invoice, it is difficult to say, but looking at the information provided, I would hazard a guess that it is your final. Is it dated around your normal invoice date?

Re: Rang to terminate my contract, what are the charges and when will I be billed?

Hi, my bills always ran 24th of one month to 23rd of the next, with Plusnet taking the money by Direct Debit on or around the 1st of each month.

The last payment they took was on 31st October for £25.74 (our last day in old property), so assume it's the last bill / invoice, but what happened to the early termination charges? Probably get another bill on 24th December with them re-added ☹️

So they have billed me for 24th Nov - 23rd December, when I stopped being a customer and services ended on 31st October 2025, however it's for -£21.27 so no money has come out, or been credited back to my back acccount. PNET 1i.JPG

I going to search some more....

Thanks.

That will be one showing the refund being paid and a zero balance.

Re: Rang to terminate my contract, what are the charges and when will I be billed?

Just rang them again, automated voice apology saying "There is a wait time of 30 minutes", so hung up.

I just need to know is this my final bill please. Can ANYONE with the authority on here please help?

Hi andyt1970

Are you planning on staying with plusnet why not give customer services all call see if they can pause your current contract until you move into the property and have your services re connected at your new property your moving to this will then avoid the need of paying the cancelation fee I rang this Number on Saturday and got through no problem 0800 587 1926.

Good question indeed why not just do a House move?
